I want to share one of the best experiences of my life. This is not my first time joining the Asian Mission, and every event like this every year is special for me. God’s love for me is great and I can feel every move He makes in my life.
The group photo here is our first photo in our church at Jesus the Nazarene Pastoral Station, Malasiqui, Pangasinan. And that is my favourite spot every time we have a group picture. That day was special for us because we had a program, sharing, testimonies, and mass in that Church.
We take also another group picture at HOPE where there are also many programs for us and the children. We also visited the families that day and even though it was tiring, the experience was fulfilling and it feels good to be back in Nampicuan, Nueva Ecija.
SocCom
¿Do you know who is the other one? It is me. I am the SocCom (Social Communication Team) of our Church where I am in charge of documentation, editing, and social media. I am happy that I can take photos of those happy moments. My job as SocCom was not easy but I am very happy and grateful because one of my talents is photography.
Overall, what I went through was difficult especially my fellow staff for that event because we all had school. But at the end of the day, we are still together. We had a lot of fun together and even though we were very tired from school, we still attended the 6ª Asian Mission because this is just a once-in-a-year event in our lives.
No words can explain how thankful I am because the Lord made me experience this again. I learned a lot, met many people, and made many friends.
For all the SMY staff like me, for my friends, Father Darío and Sisters, for the missionaries in different countries, and for the friendships that have been formed,
MARAMING SALAMAT PO!
